Beef Photo Challenge




Standing Rib Roast is a holiday tradition in my house and I can almost guarantee NO leftovers! This marinade is kosher salt, fresh rosemary, olive oil, black pepper, and garlic cloves. All ingredients put into the food processor and rubbed all over the roast. I always prefer to let my roast sit out 1 hour before placing marinating and putting in the oven. A roast of this size is put into the oven at 500 degress for 1 hour and then I turn off the roast and leave it in the oven for about 6 hours! DO NOT open the oven door to peek. 45 minutes before serving time, I turn the oven on to 375 and do the final roasting. Please be sure to allow the roast to settle before carving! YUM YUM. I seve this with a horseradish sauce! Bon Apetite'
